The business model of Translational Research Division (TR) fully utilizes the drug and device development capabilities of the SNBL's core CRO business to accelerate drug development, leading to out-licensing to pharmaceutical companies.
TR has developed , a novel nasal delivery system. This system is an effective combination of a novel drug carrier and a nasal delivery device, which can effectively and comfortably deliver a wide variety of drugs through the nasal route. Furthermore, to expand the clinical application of , TR is developing original, safe, and highly absorbable nasal formulations capable of containing a variety of active pharmaceutical ingredients (API).
Recently, the applications of nasal formulations have been expanding, from local therapy (such as for nasal inflammation) to systemic therapy. TR's is expected to expand the range of applications of nasal formulations to systemic therapy and TR is continuing its endeavors to refine this system.
